Does anyone know anything about the two locations? We are looking to do things like wildlife viewing, white water rafting, horseback riding, golfing, etc. According to my travel brochures, these activities are available in both locations. So, any feedback or recommendations would be appreciated.

If you cant fit both in, then I would advise Yellowstone. You can do all the activities you highlight but you also have the geothermal features and there are very few places in the whole world where you can experience those.

i have spent time at both locations. from what you describe, either would be a great choice, but there are differences. Glacier is much more of an alpine climate. much more moisture, denser forest etc. i also think it is much more scenic as well. Nothing against Yellowstone, it is a great park, and it might have more access to some of the things you are looking for, since it is more heavily visited than Glacier. But all things considered, i think you will have a blast either way.
